We awaken each day hoping it will be a better day.
Not all is bad, but there are some things that could improve.
A little tweak here, and a little tweak there.

Hmm... we think, how can I make this better...
What changes can I make...

So, we get outa bed ready to start the new day.
We ponder the thought, were shall I start...
What shall I start first...
And how.

It's worth the time I believe to take a few minutes to reflect.
Reflect how, you say.

Well, while your eating your breakfast, take your time.
Ponder what is on your mind.
I'm not saying, dwell, I'm saying ponder.
This is really important.

Now  what I mean by that Is,
when we dwell on things, we get a bit dramatic.
We tend to make things worse than they are.
Yup we do.
Because we disect each and every detail to a point
that we drive ourselves crazy.
We get so frustrated, we go nuts.

Why do we do that ?
If we could have half our wishes, we would double our troubles.
Think about it.

But still,
Some of us think we can change the world.
We're right, and everybody else is wrong.

So, when we get to the end of our rope,
we should tie a knot and hang on.

Then you say/think, But ! ...

My kids should "listen to me" and "do what I say" !
I'm older than they are, I've lived longer.
Even though they're grown, independant.

"Children need love, especially when they do not deserve it".

My employee's aren't respecting me,
and they should , "I'm the boss" !
Are you respecting them ?

Whether we like it or not, and we don't always do it right,
people react to "how" they're treated.
And I'm sure you've heard it many times,
"Respect is earned, not given".

I could give more examples, but I believe you get the idea.

So, here are some thoughts to consider/ponder.

Not all may fit exactly what is going on in your life.
But some may.

When our kids don't follow our each and every word,
no matter how old they are.

"To love someone is to give them room enough to grow".

It could be, that ways of doing things that didn't work for us,
will work for them. If not, let them stumble, that's how they
will learn and grow. Not always fun, I know.

"The only way to avoid mistakes is to gain experience.
The only way to gain experience is to make mistakes".

If your the boss (or anyone else for that matter),
some things to  remember is,

"Do unto others as though you were the others".

"Better than being the heart of the business, is being the heart of it".

"The person who rows the boat generally doesn't have time to rock it".

"Deal with the faults of others as gently as with your own".

  "Lay stepping-stones, not stumbling blocks".

Ok, now here you have seen some examples.
Some of these quips may fit any area of your life.

Think about it.

Not To Mention...

They Say,  Attitude is Everything, Is It ?

How you dress, how you look, what kind of job you have,
or you're education, does not set the stage for your attitude.
How could it.

Do you ever notice how being around people (no matter where you are)
who always gossip and complain. Always see the negative side of everything,
brings you down ?

Then again, when your around positive, upbeat people,
and life doesn't seem to be treating you fair at the time,
You "Do"  actually feel better !

Attitudes,  are contagious.
Is yours worth catching ?

Better to be brought Up, than Down.

Think About It ...

Just an added note from me

So one easy way that we can control the people we are around.
People who affect us.
Is, "Get away from the grump, the frump. The negatory type" !

And even if you have to search for people who would impact
your attitude. Search for them.

The difference is unbelievable. Even if it effects you just a little.
It's a possitive way to go.

Now that was easy.
